Link Counts are usually done for individual vehicles moving from one point to another. We carry out Link counts from busy motorways to quiet rural roads with classification counts depending on the client’s requirements. We do this for any vehicle classification and any number of vehicles. Link Count services are beneficial in providing street-level traffic data that will help in forecasting traffic flow to improve transport planning.
We carry out Link Count services via manual method or video-based method. Traffic data is collected by our trained staff at different locations for a given period providing light vehicles and heavy vehicles. The data is usually recorded bi-directionally on an hourly or three hours basis or as determined by the client.
